Unforgettable, old-fashioned and rich values is what my father imparted about farming, farmers and how to sustain the dynamic of eating good food. For him and all of us at home, good food was good conversation. It was a great joy and possibly a source of wonderful health and energy too.
In that tradition, I work with farmers, food, and families every day. That’s what I know best. Over the years I’ve built businesses, built standards, and learnt what it takes to keep everyday food honest — from the field to the retail shelf. This site is my attempt to share what I’ve learned, and where I’m taking it next.
What I believe
So, my journey continues with wanting India, Indians and the world to eat good, honest food.

I believe that good food is the heart of every family. Growing up in a farmer's household, I learnt the value of fresh produce and the joy it brings to our tables. Our mission is to connect farmers with families, ensuring that every meal is not just nutritious but also filled with love and tradition. Let us prioritize honesty and purity in every product and create a seamless connection from farm to fork. Join me on this journey.
Where i spend time
I spend my time with farmers and families — with the land and livestock that sustain us, and with the food we depend on every day.
Much of it is on farms, improving how food is grown and handled. Some of it is with young brands that want to grow without losing their purpose. And much of it now converges in Purity Prayag — where these learnings come together to make everyday food clearer, fairer, and easier to trust.
A moment from the field
On a recent visit, a farmer said something that stayed with me.
“When I know my crop will be valued fairly, I work differently.”
That confidence matters. It shapes how carefully the land is tended, how patiently the harvest is handled. And I often think — the same assurance a farmer seeks is what a family should feel when they pick up a pack of dal or rice.
Most conversations about food happen far from farms. But its real story is written on the ground — in uncertain weather, rising input costs, and the risks carried long before a product reaches a shelf.
This is a place for clear thinking about food — what’s changed, what we’ve forgotten, what we can rebuild, and how families can choose better without turning food into a full-time project.

My focus is simple: strengthen sourcing at the ground level, keep pricing fair and transparent, and make honest food easier to access in everyday homes.
Much of this work now takes shape through Purity Prayag — built in two expressions: a carefully curated good-food store, and a standalone range of everyday essentials shaped by clear standards.
This is a reflection on a slower life—where time allowed for relationships, conversations, and presence. A reminder that many of the good things in life are simple and straight.
